Schools can book a class to visit our waste management facilities in either Exeter or Plymouth. The visits are free of charge and link well with topics such as Sustainability, Material Science and Recycling.
A full day visit is available to the Exeter Energy from Waste Facility in Marsh Barton or Plymouth Energy from Waste Plant in Devonport for all schools in Devon (max. 33 pupils).
Schools arrive at 10am and leave at 1:30-2pm. A space for lunch is included. Travel to both plants can be by train. Grants are available from Devon County Council of up to £200 to assist schools with transport costs.
